2018 MotoAmerica: Championship of Alabama
Championship of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park
The top Superbike racers in North America return to Barber Motorsports Park September 21-23 for round 10 of the 2017 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Race Championship. Last year, Barber hosted the season finale for the first time and the timing couldn’t be better. So, the series will again end its 10-race series in Alabama at what truly is a park. The racing facility located on the eastern fringes of Birmingham is green and pristine, the home of not only the 2.38-mile road course but also the “world's largest motorcycle museum.” Owned by George Barber, BMP is a spectator’s delight with grass-covered banks from which to view the action on the 17-turn track. BMP has hosted Superbike racing since it opened in 2003.
