StoryTell with Rachel Saslaw and Samanee Mahbub

StoryTell is a monthly gathering to learn, inspire, and share real-life stories around each month’s theme. Our mission is to build in-person connections through vulnerability, courage, and shared experience.

The theme for this month is “Patience”.  Share a story where time healed…or maybe it didn’t. What was a time that patience paid off? Was it always worth the wait?

Stories are open to anyone, no pre-sign-up or storytelling experience necessary! Depending on the number of storytellers, stories are limited to 5-10 minutes. You may also attend just to listen - who knows, you may become inspired to throw your name in the hat!

BYOB and bring your own snacks/food. Stories start at 7 pm so please arrive on time. 

Who are your cohosts:
Rachel Saslaw and Samanee Mahbub are the cohosts of StoryTell. They originally met at a dinner for strangers and instantly gravitated towards each other after listening to each other’s desire to go beyond surface-level connection with people. They decided to co-create a community centered around vulnerability and shared experiences through stories.

Started in a friends’ living room, StoryTell has grown organically to hundreds of listeners and storytellers and is excited to bring the storytelling magic to Lightning Society once again.
