Duration: 3 to 5 hours (depending on the location of the recordings and considering the travel)
Mandatory equipment: Participants can use any recording device they have available (iphone through to profession set ups).

Semibreve festival returns to Braga, Portugal for its 7th edition between 27th and 29th of October 2017.

Gas, Rabih Beaini, Lawrence English, Laurie Spiegel, Beatriz Ferreyra and Sabre are the new confirmations to the lineup, which already included Deathprod, Valgeir Sigurðsson, Fis and Kyoka.

The internationally renowned Portuguese festival has consistently presented a forward-thinking programme featuring some of the most revered electronic music artists from around the word. Including both new and established artists, Semibreve has commissioned performances by Cluster and Harmonia member Roedelius, Kaitlyn Aurelia smith, Andy Stott, Dopplereffekt, Laurel Halo, Ben Frost, Klara Lewis, Demdike Stare, Jon Hopkins, Vladislav Delay, Alva Noto, Fennesz, Emptyset, Ryoji Ikeda, The Haxan Cloak and many more. 

Semibreve’s emphasis on a carefully curated live programme, its stunning location and venues, together with affordable tickets, has brought about sold-out events and well-deserved critical acclaim and support from the likes of Pitchfork, The Wire Magazine, The Quietus, FACT, Thump, XLR8R, The Quietus, Resident Advisor, Independent, Clash Magazine and Dazed and Confused Magazine.
