May I have another… night of drum & bass on the Myth terrace? Why, yes you May! It is a great privilege to welcome our longtime friend and supporter, the one and only Village Warrior, for his first performance at the monthly terrace takeover. Joining him will be the homie D Rock along with another first-timer Jeremi J.

About The Artists

Village Warrior aka Tony aka Yeti The Choke Slama brings the noise and depth of Jungle Ragga and beyond. Originally hailing from northwest Washington D.C., Tony spent much of his time circa 99-05 playing in D.C. venues such as The Edge, Club 5 , Buzz including a residency at U Turn. Tony was a regular part of the Worknight Sessions, a weekly Drum and Bass event in Jacksonville from 2016-17 which has recently returned as a seasonal event at Myrtle Avenue Brewing.

D Rock has been rockin the decks since ’97. After being heavily influenced by different forms of dance music he shifted his focus to playing DnB around 2001. Relocating to Panama City Fl circa 2004 he had 2 radio shows on 107.9 pfm for about a year, titled the Vibe and Afterhours. Returning to Jax in 2010 he gradually reentered the DNB scene playing event nights like Pro Bono, JAXDNB, Crunchay24, Therapy, and the Phukheadz shows. D ROCK has supported events featuring DNB legends like The Planet of The Drums, LTJ Bukem & Sunshine Jones including supporting a Torque takeover at TSI. More recently he has performed with Modūl at Archetype, Invasive Ceremonies, and of course JaxDnB.

Jeremi J. might be an unfamiliar name to you now but that’s all about to change. You may have recently seen his set at the Humm & Bass event hosted by The Humm Collective. With a passion for the rave and vibes to match, his selections will electrify the dance like none other.

The monthly JaxDnB Terrace Takeover occurs on the first Friday of each month at Myth Nightclub.
