On Saturday 25 January 2025, JaxDnB brings you another special night of drum n bass music and art.
We are pleased to welcome MTpockets (Rolled Up Records, MojoHeadz Records) from Tampa, FL., along with support from Wook Doctor (The Wub Tub, Gas Buddy) and Brian Bellas (JaxDnB, Language).
About MTpockets
MTpockets (em-tee paw-kets) is an experimental electronic music Producer / DJ, based out of Tampa, Florida, who is best known for his Drum & Bass production and style that blends heavy rolling synths with the seductive elements of liquid. This certified "Florida Man" (aka Nigel Pitman) has performed at most of the major clubs in Florida, and has played countless festivals across the United States and internationally.
He has released music on labels such as Rolled Up Records, MojoHeadz Records, Del Sol Ltd., Furious Funk Records, Cornicello, and more. His roots in the Florida electronic music and dnb culture has flourished over the past 14 years with his first residency beginning at the age of 14 at Tampa's former weekly event "The BakerActed Drum & Bassment". From there, he has supported major artists such as Skrillex, Excision, Steve Aoki, Seba, Big Gigantic, Dieselboy, Borgore, and more.

Supporting Artists
Wook Doctor is a bass fueled prescription from Jacksonville, FL. His music can be described as bass heavy and high energy, pushing a diverse range of genres throughout each song or set. Much like a medical doctor, Wook Doctor has undergone intense specialized training to operate your vibe.
In addition he is a cofounder of the bass music event production group The Wub Tub with a recurring monthly event of the same name. He is also one-half of the music duo Gas Buddy along with his brother and fellow bass music artist Stupid Thick. More than a decade of experience in Jacksonville's EDM scene has allowed Wook Doctor to tap into the pulse of today's EDM crowd.

Brian Bellas is an artist residing in St. Augustine after relocating from Denver, CO. Originally hailing from the VA/MD/DC area he has DnB roots dating back to the late 90’s. His early involvement in regular club nights included booking and promotions with the legendary 2Tuff Crew.
Brian relocated to from the D.C. area to Denver in 2008 and was soon playing shows for the iconic Recon crew. He then helped to start Soulfleet and began hosting a liquid/atmospheric weekly, where he would later become a founding member of the Language Denver crew.

Art Showcase by Shannon Wirth
Shannon Wirth is a mother of four, an artist, a photographer, and a music lover. Shannon’s art is inspired by life itself and her passion for music of all kinds. She uses a variety of mediums to create her art, including paint on canvas, painting vinyl records, handmade jewelry, and other 3D art pieces. Her art makes extensive use of blacklight-reactive and neon colors, tastefully implemented to create accents which bring her works into another dimension. You can find her periodically at various art markets in and around Jacksonville, as well as in rotation at our JaxDnB and Invasive Ceremonies events.
About the venue
Studio 444 (formerly known as Fito’s Caffe) is one of Jacksonville’s newest electronic music venues. Just a few minutes south of downtown is where you will find this unassuming but welcoming night club which is currently home to Wub Tub Wednesdays. They host all manner of events spanning all genres of electronic music. Expect immersive light shows and visuals along with a friendly staff serving your favorite drinks.
This is an 18+ event, doors 10pm-2am. General admission advance tickets are only $11 with no additional fees; general admission on day of show will be $15. Shufflers and flow artists (no fire) are welcome. Bring your good vibes and dance the night away with us!
