This event will feature artists that typically only visit Florida for Ultra Music Festival and rarely come to the Tampa/St. Petersburg Florida area. We are in for a serious treat with some extremely well-respected, award winning, DJs/Producers/Remixes who have played on some of the world's biggest stages.

What's in a Name?

To us, a name means a lot. THE FIRESTICK SESSIONS will be held in St. Petersburg Florida, located on the far western side of the mighty Tampa Bay. When choosing the Tampa Bay Area for our next event, we felt it was vital to focus on the roots and culture of the local area. Bringing in headliners that rarely visit the region and adding outstanding local and regional talent to create a memorable experience to all in attendance.

The word "TANPA" literally translates to "STICKS OF FIRE", the Native American's word to represent the Lightning Strikes they frequently witnessed in the area. Today, Tampa is known as the Lightning Capital of the World. We wanted to pay homage to the roots of the region to show our respect and gratitude for the fine people who make up the dance music community in the Tampa Bay area and hope that this will become the first of many exciting events to follow. With maximum respect given to the Native Americans who once inhabited this land, as well as to the community as a whole. Without knowing our roots, we can never truly grow.

For this event we paired two of the world's top DJs/Producers with some of the local region's best talent in Drum n Bass and House Music seamlessly curated to blend together to create a night for all electronic music fans to enjoy.
