🎾 It’s Back! Welcome to the Desert Smash! In its 19th year, the Desert Smash is the world’s most famous celebrity tennis event that brings together Hollywood and Pro Tennis for charity, and this year will be no exception! 

Desert Smash brings together Hollywood's biggest celebrities and the world’s best professional tennis players for a one-day extravaganza at the prestigious La Quinta Resort & Club (www.laquintaresort.com). The event is intentionally held prior to the 5th biggest tennis tournament in the world, the BNP Paribas Open, in neighboring Indian Wells. This year, Desert Smash will benefit Playing For Change Foundation - an international (501c3) non-profit organization founded in 2007, operating 17 music programs across 13 countries. Desert Smash Event Details:

The afternoon event, held at the beatiful La Quinta Resort Stadium Tennis Court, is buzzing with amazing desert energy, music and good vibes. With renowned DJs setting the tone with great music undertones, the festive atmosphere is complemented with a fun “Desert Smash Village” of brands and sponsors showcasing their products, celebrities walking our Red Carpet and of course the margaritas flowing at our fun hosted-bars!

Desert Smash has for years brought out some of the world’s biggest stars, and this year is no exception, as we welcome multi-Grammy award-winning artist and superstar P!NK to the intimate La Quinta Resort & Club Stadium Court for our daytime tennis exhibition! Joining P!NK we have some of the world’s top tennis players:

Early confirmations include two-time Grand Slam Champion, Victoria Azarenka, 2022 Roland Garros and US Open Finalist and current ATP Tour world #4, Casper Ruud, WTA Rising Star, Marta Kostyuk, ATP Tour World #29 Grigor Dimitrov ATP Tour World #46, Richard Gasquet, WTA Tour #30, Donna Vekic and 2020 Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award winner and ATP Tour world #15, Frances Tiafoe. 

Our day will kick off with a LVBL Experience powered by Wilson at the La Quinta Resort & Club Tennis Center. LVBL is a fast-paced, high cardio, music infused on court "tennis party" that will include amateurs, touring pros, and celebrities. For more information checkout: lvbl.club

The renowned Desert Smash Tennis Exhibition kicks off at 2PM, with our celebrity emcee and chair umpires at the helm steering us through an array of competitive, yet fun, entertaining matches. The on-court matches typically will start with a WTA Tour pro player match, continue with (two scheduled) celebrity + pro players doing battle in fun doubles matches—in Desert Smash form—all mic’d up and making us laugh with their on-court banter! We'll wrap up the exhibition with a ATP Tour men's singles match featuring two of the most well recognized players in the game! During the exhibition, expect on-court special appearances, an incredible on-court live auction, fan interaction and fun interviews!

This is the ultimate experiential opportunity to participate and play in Desert Smash! Your LVBL Experience kickoffs on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at La Quinta Resort & Club includes:

• One (1) playing/participating spot in LVBL experience on La Quinta's tennis courts. LVBL is a fast-paced, high cardio, music infused on court "tennis party" that will include amateurs, touring pros, and celebrities (10am-12pm PT) 

• One (1) invitation to LVBL hosted continental breakfast (8-10am PT) and luncheon (12-2pm PT) at the La Quinta Resort & Club and Tennis Club patio

• One (1) on-court, west facing seat on the La Quinta Resort/Desert Smash Tennis Stadium for the Desert Smash Tennis Exhibition (2-5pm PT). This seat is located on-the-court and closest to all the players and the action! Please keep in mind this seat is taken at your own-risk, as it is literally on-the-court and subject to being in the trajectory of tennis balls in play!

Courtside Seats

Our courtside seats are three rows of tiered/raised seating closest to the court. This is an east-facing seat, with the sun setting behind your seat and includes admission to the La Quinta Resort/Desert Smash Tennis Stadium for the Desert Smash Tennis Exhibition (2-5pm PT)

Rêveuse Courtside Champagne Tables

A VIP champagne table purchase includes eight (8) tickets to a courtside table at the 2023 annual Desert Smash event. Each table includes two bottles of Rêveuse Champagne, along with the following:

• Eight (8) invitations to the "Desert Smash Bash" our official evening after party. The exclusive party will feature an ultra-premium hosted bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, celebrity top chef food stations and a memorable surprise musical performance!
