D1NZ Round 1 Taupo - Dec 2023

 

The 2023/2024 season of the Repco D1NZ National Drifting Championship kicks off at Taupo, with a pre-Christmas start to kick off summer sideways – Who will be the 2024 Champion?

Fanga Dan has already announced he is back and ready to defend the title – With over 50+ epic top NZ drivers and the only time the National Championship visits the central Plateau central North island fans should lock it in.

The fans spoke and we listened - both classes are back TOGETHER for the full season!! For Round 1 this event the pits are accessible so you can meet and greet your favourite drivers!

 

​𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦:

Gates open at 10:00am both days.
Friday is practice and qualifying for both classes.
Saturday is the main competition battle day for both Pro-Sport and Pro classes respectively (expected to finish 5~5.30pm)

 

𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 

Tickets purchased online (available before the event only) are more cost-effective than at the gate

Adult pricing is for those aged 15+
Child pricing is for those aged 8-14 (7 and under are free)
NOTE - Children aged under 15 need to be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

𝗩𝗜𝗣 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧

VIP Pass $120.00 – Includes event access Friday and Saturday, as well as access to the VIP lounge, with lunch & beverages on Saturday. Adults and Children will require their own tickets for access to this lounge.

For those who wish to bring their pride and joy, modified cars can park on display within the central area of the venue (but must have pre-purchased tickets)
(For all others, parking is available without charge in another area of the venue) A transaction fee will apply per booking.

There will be food and beverages available at the venue.
If a Bar is on site alcohol will not be served to minors or intoxicated persons - ID required on request. You may bring a homemade picnic in a soft-chilly bag. Commercial food is not allowed to be brought into the venue.

This is a fantastic event however, you may be exposed to the sun, wind or rain for an extended period, therefore we strongly encourage you to bring along sunscreen, sunglasses, a jacket, be prepared with a fillable water bottle.
