PLF's Annual New Year’s Eve Decemberween Celebration Has a New Home!

This year, the Party Liberation Foundation (PLF) is bringing the annual New Year’s Eve Decemberween bash to Powers BMX Shop! Since our start, Decemberween has grown from intimate house parties and basement gatherings into Richmond’s biggest NYE celebration. But this time, we’re going back to our roots with a more personal touch, rekindling the vibe of our early years while still delivering a full lineup of entertainment, art, and surprises.

Join us at Powers BMX Shop to kick off the New Year surrounded by friends, old and new. Expect fire performances, immersive art installations, DJs, interactive circus and performance arts, outdoor pyro-sculptures, live painting, lounge areas, food trucks, and much more! Whether it’s your first Decemberween or your 18th, get ready for a night to remember.

• Entry to all entertainment areas
• One complimentary drink ticket
• A keepsake photobooth print
• PLF swag gifts crafted by local artists

IMPORTANT TO KNOW FOR ENTRY

• Bring your ticket (digital or paper) and a valid photo ID. This event is 21+ only.

LOCATION AND PARKING REMINDERS

• No parking at Powers BMX Shop lot; towing is enforced. Parking is available at the Food Lion nearby.
• Consider rideshare options! We’re working with UBER and LYFT on promo codes.
• Do not drink and drive. We’ll have non-alcoholic options on-site.

WHAT TO BRING (AND NOT BRING!)

• Empty water bottles are welcome, but no liquids of any kind may be brought in.
• Bags are subject to checks; only small bags and purses allowed.
• NO weapons, illegal substances, or costume props that resemble weapons.

CONSENT AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

• PLF has a zero-tolerance policy for any consent violations, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
• We encourage all attendees to wear KN95 or N95 masks when possible to help keep our community safe.
• A Sanctuary area is available for anyone needing a moment to recharge.

FIRE PERFORMERS WELCOME!
Experienced fire spinners, we invite you to participate in the Pyro Circus fire circle! A mandatory safety meeting is required—check-in times at 8:30pm, 10:30pm, and 12:30am by the Fuel Depot.

Additional Health & Safety Measures:

Our outdoor entertainment options and marked social distancing areas are designed to reduce transmission risks. Hand sanitizing stations and contactless payment options will also be available.

This celebration is an annual fundraiser for the Party Liberation Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, inclusivity, and community growth through art and free public events.
