South African native Themba is certainly making a name for himself, having burst onto the global dance scene in 2018 with a string of high profile gigs & music releases. His sound is forged from his African roots, incorporating local singers, songwriters and percussionists to create his own unique & distinct take on house & techno. His debut EP is scheduled for release on Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound label in Spring, followed by remixes for Black Coffee and Nick Curly. Summer will see the release of another Themba EP on Yoshitoshi and more to be announced soon. 2018 will see a string of high profile gigs for Themba. He made his debut in December playing with Black Coffee at Shimmy Beach Club South Africa, and again in January, as well as for the Resistance stage at Ultra Festival in February. In March he supported Faithless on their South African tour as well as playing at Elrow and in April he will be at the Corona Sunset festival SA. This summer will see him make his Ibiza debuts, kicking off with the Black Coffee's opening party at Hi, the Bridges For Music event at Heart playing alongside Dubfire and appearing at Hot Since 82's Labyrinth party at Pacha, with more TBC.
