The Day of the Dead is an ancient celebration that symbolizes the meeting between the living and the deceased. During this celebration, sadness and nostalgia become celebration, joy and self-confidence, as we honor the beloved deceased who for a few hours return to the world of the living to join our families. To celebrate, Mexican families build altars, a fundamental element that shows the mixing of pre-Hispanic religions, a tradition that has remained alive through the centuries. The Day of the Dead is the date on which we all join in the celebration of the souls that no longer live on earth... And although they say that Mexicans do not fear death, on the contrary, we celebrate it.
