Unwritten Law Concert Now Donating All Profits To Muriwai Community Fund

It's been a wild month in NZ and nothing has captured us more than those who have lost loved ones and everything they own.  They are all part of our crew and we need to be there to help them recover.

The Promoters of this show, half of them coming from Muriwai, have after talking with the band decided that all profits will go into helping the Muriwai community recover.  READ ON / SHARE AND BE THERE.

LETS SELL THIS F#CKER OUT AND RAISE SOME SERIOUS MONEY.

ATTENTION ATTENTION!! Unwritten Law had to cancel their Australian tour due to no fault of their own and their New Zealand performance was looking dim.

The Promoter reached out to both Unwritten Law & A Wilhelm Scream and told them about what the community of Muriwai had gone through with Cyclone Gabrielle in February bringing tons of land down in slips, leaving some homeless as well as the deaths of Firefighters Dave van Zwanenberg and Craig Stevens.

Both Unwritten Law + A Wilhelm Scream jumped straight on board and can’t wait to get to New Zealand and give back to Muriwai community!

Eversion Clothing Presents a banger of a show coming in hot for 2023.
“UNWRITTEN LAW & A WILHELM SCREAM”
Monday 6th March 2023
Galatos, Auckland

Formed in 1989 in Poway, California, UNWRITTEN LAW have been operational in 5 different decades. With a history of lineup changes (last played in New Zealand in 2002), this incarnation of the band have been steady since 2014.

“It almost feels like a new band” says long time singer Scott Russo.
If there was one word to describe this latest endeavor, it would be; serendipitous. Everything that lead up to the bands 7th studio release The Hum seems to have been written in the stars. “We were supposed to hand the record in the month the pandemic hit and it just wasn’t there.” says Russo.

“The label was like, we don’t want to put it out till you can tour so...we took an extra year to make sure we had it, and we did”. With almost a decade alongside brother and bassist Jonny Grill, founding drummer Wade Youman, and guitarists Chris Lewis and Scotty Mac, the band has never been stronger. With their latest release “The Hum”, the band has brought forth a conceptual work that rings loudly in todays
oversaturated music space.
Joining Unwritten Law is melodic hardcore legends A Wilhelm Scream from Massachusetts. The band will be coming armed with their fifth full-length album Lose Your Delusion, their first new record in 9 years, which continues their two-decade tradition of hyper fast, technically staggering output that blurs lines between punk, metal and rock. The tour will mark A Wilhelm Scream’s first visit to our shores since 2016, something which will undoubtedly have their diehard kiwi fanbase frothing.

Tickets for Monday 6th March show are through Galatos.co.nz
