What is Amapiano?
Tulum’s first ever Ampiano music event….originated in South Africa and played by the likes of Major League DJz ,Dj Stokie , Kabza De Small ,Dj Maphorisa ,Kelvin Momo ,Jay Music ,Rosey Gold and many more
Amapiano is a relatively new and distinct genre of house music that emerged from South Africa in the early 2010s. The word “amapiano” loosely translates to “the pianos” in Zulu, and the genre is characterized by a fusion of deep house, jazz, kwaito, and Afrohouse elements.
