SIR - the Techno night where you can feel SHAMELESS, INTIMATE, and RESPECTED - is back with an EXTRA special event this July!
SIR: OVERLOAD
SIR is a party and a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to love themselves and dance the night away to the sounds of many flavours of techno.
Following the sell-out successes of SIR: INITIATION and SIR: POWERPLAY the third instalment of SIR is not to be missed.
SIR: OVERLOAD is coming to K’ Road’s underground on Friday, 21st July, taking things up several EXTRA notches at Whammy’s big room.

📣 We're beyond excited to welcome DJ FEISTY aka Mel Fitzpatrick for the very first time in Auckland!
Head Honcho of Sydney’s infamous EXTRA DIRTY events and known for her numerous appearances at Mardi Gras Party, Inquisition and Tropical Fruits, Mel 'Feisty' Fitzpatrick is one of the queer scene’s most popular DJs. Sexy, hypnotic, hip grinding rhythms and rolling baselines characterise the Feisty sound, culminating in a style that delivers an unmatched energy to the dance floor. She has played alongside some of the biggest international names such as Carl Cox, Ben Manson, Sneaky Sound System, Javier Medina, Chicane, Jack Chang, Boy George, Calagna and Boris (DE). Kate.Land is a queer nightlife aficionado, currently based in Ōtautahi. They are also the promoter for a hot new queer party ‘Tender Buttons’. They draw inspiration from their experiences living and working in some of the most vibrant nightlife cities in the world, including Berlin, New York, and London. Through their travels, they have explored a wide range of musical genres, delving into the twisted corners of music to create a unique sound that merges disco, house, techno and leftfield. Above all, Kate.Land believes in the transformative power of music to promote positive social change.

Mel 'FEISTY' Fitzpatrick (EXTRA DIRTY, Sydney)
It’s Feisty’s original approach to her sound that has made her stand out. Sexy, hypnotic, hip grinding rhythms and rolling baselines characterise the Feisty sound, culminating in a style that delivers an unmatched energy to the dance floor.
Early on she cemented her credentials with top notch residencies, most notably with Crash and Dirty at Sydney’s legendary underground venue Phoenix as well as Queer Nation at Home Nightclub and regular guest appearances including Taboo (Singapore), Rubberball, Beyond Black (Melbourne), WoofClub, Homesexual and the world-famous Hellfire Club. She has also played alongside some of the biggest international names such as Carl Cox, Ben Manson, Sneaky Sound System, Javier Medina, Chicane, Jack Chang, Boy George, Calagna and Boris (DE).
In 2008, Feisty added another dimension to her career, teaming up with the late Mandy Rollins to create Extra Dirty, a party that has continued to bring an alternative sound to Sydney’s party scene. Today Extra Dirty is internationally recognised as one of Sydney’s premier events.
Whether it’s at an intimate venue, a back room or a fully-fledged dance party, you can be sure that Feisty will move you.
