Cèilidh a' tòiseachadh le òrain ùra a chaidh a choimiseanadh airson Blas 2020. Tha na h-òrain uile a' comharrachadh Bliadhna Cladaichean is Uisgeachan na h-Alba agus chaidh an sgrìobhadh le James Hind, Màiri Anna NicUalraig, Niall O’Gallagher agus Raonaid Walker. Thig an oidhche, agus Blas 2020, gu ceann le còmhlan ainmeil Innse Gall, Beinn Lee.

Performances of new Gaelic songs inspired by Scotland’s Coasts and Waters composed by James Hind, Mary Ann Kennedy, Niall O’Gallagher and Rachel Walker will form the first half of our finale event. Blas 2020’s St Andrew’s Night concert will be brought to a close by the Outer Hebridean band, Beinn Lee.

Experience the music, friendship and craic of the 2020 SEALL Festival of Small Halls live-streamed from the Isle of Skye directly into your living room. Taking place between 26 and 28 November, our concerts and Big Cèilidh this year will be led by nine of Scotland’s leading musicians in two 45-minute sets for each concert then all will appear on stage together for our stunning St Andrew’s Night celebration, the popular Big Cèilidh.

Performances take place:

  • 26 November at 8pm - From one of Skye’s wee halls: Braes Hall
  • 27 November at 8pm - From the elegant drawing room of the ancient Hebridean fortress of Clan MacLeod: Dunvegan Castle
  • 28 November at 10pm - From Seumas’ Bar of Skye’s most iconic hotel: The Sligachan Hotel

These performances will be live-streamed by a professional film crew to deliver the best quality festival experience to social media platforms all across the world.

Small Halls 2020 is part of the Blas Festival and St Andrew’s Fair Saturday.
