Music is the one true universal language.

Born from a desire to play together, Communicate is the brainchild of Auckland based DJs Cyril Orson and Heylady.

These two stalwarts of the NZ scene have been ferreting away rhythm for well over 50 years between them. Take a dip into the minds that hunted music that has stood the test of time, as well as the freshest of cuts.

This is a no holds barred exploration of sound, expect four to the floor, broken beat, elements of garage and electronica, and expect it all put together by two humans who can’t live without the harmony they breathe. Communicate plans to do exactly what it says, it’s a night for you to leave your inhibitions at the door and to revel in the dance as they take you on an adventure through the music they love.

BOZNICH (George Barker)

Hailing from the U.K. after serving his time in London in 2019 a string of fortunate events has allowed him to call Aotearoa home.

Since his early 20’s he’s been chipping away at London’s underground electronic music scene with co-owned collective the Mad Hatters who have thrown countless party’s across the city. Including a weekly takeover at Ministry Of Sound London along with several other monthly residency’s across the city. Working with such iconic labels as Amsterdam Dance Event, Sane Studios, MOS, Frame, Boys Next Door and most recently Beat & Path. Featuring at clubs and festivals around the globe such as ADE, XOYO, Ministry Of Sound, London Fields, Dalston Roof park, Cuckoo club, R&A, Shipwrecked, Adrift + many more.

Over the past few years this Raglan based DJ and producer has been smiling and bopping his way through New Zealand’s house & techno scene. With nearly a decade of experience and a deep crate expect a deep melodic trip with a chunky edge.

HER & HER

A dynamic duo that has recently emerged onto the scene, forming a stellar connection destined for greatness. These two kindred spirits have united to unleash an compelling energy that will keep you grooving throughout the night. Their seamless collaboration and complementary tune selections create a spellbinding sound that leaves you craving for more. A match made in heaven!

In just two short years, Ranz has established her powerful presence within the house music scene. With an infectious energy that turns heads and captivates ears, she has surely been making moves as an emerging artist. Having graced the stages of renowned festivals like RnA, Adrift, and Shipwrecked, as well as playing support for Sonorous, Defected Records, and Bookashade, Ranz has proven her ability to command the dance floor.

Inspired by the talents of DAVI, VICHTOR, and Pambouk, Ranz has forged a unique sonic identity. Her signature sound blends Middle Eastern influences, deep melodic tunes, and groovy basslines, creating an enchanting journey of pure joy and expressive emotions.

Ranz finds her own happiness in sharing her musical experiences with others and thrives on connecting and forming unforgettable bonds with epic individuals who share her love of music. Her stunning tune selection and genuine love for music radiate through every set she delivers, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to experience her as she illuminates the stage.

COURTNEE LEIGH: (Other half of HER & HER)

Courtnee has been slinging house music since 2020, but she’s been involved in Auckland’s music scene for much longer. The general manager for K Rd’s iconic Neck of The Woods, Courtnee has helped bring some of music’s biggest names through, as well as working with most of the local promoters and DJs.

Her passion for sharing music is what started it all. She has an innate ear for quality sound, and not just in the four-four realm. Courtnee is also a successful drum n bass DJ under her moniker, Coco.

House music and Courtnee go hand in hand. In the two years she been playing four to the floor, she’s garnered a reputation for herself as a slick, clever and tight DJ. A fan of rolling baselines, melody and tight percussion, Courtnee’s ability to switch from deep to minimal to big party techno and back again always keeps her dance floor guessing and alive.

Already having played some pretty impressive stages, Courtnee is set to blow up, and she has no intention for slowing down for anything.
