Opera Maya is returning to Papaya Playa Project for the 11th edition of the festival! Featuring over 50 musicians from around the world, including 2017 Composition Competition winner Luis M. Ruelas Romo, Opera Maya is returning to Papaya Playa Project for the eighth time.

ÓperaMaya produces several events throughout the year including the “ÓperaMaya International Music Festival”, a cultural exchange of musicians from across the globe held in June throughout the Yucatán Peninsula of México. With a mission of breaking the confines of class and conception to bring opera to the masses throughout the region of the Maya. The festival features Guest Conductors, Emerging Artist, and Young Artist vocal training programs (YAPs), Opera Chorus, Collaborative Piano, Festival Orchestra, Brass, Wind and String Ensembles, Ensemble in Residence, along with special guest performances.
 
What you need to know:

● General Admission, The entrance fee of $1,000 MXN includes 500 MXN toward drinks in our bars. 

● Dinner Ticket, $1,500 MXN includes a 3 course menu per person and a Vip table seat (Must arrive before 7:30pm)

● We begin at 7 pm.

● Dress Code: Dinner-Casual.

● The prices are PLUS 15% service.

● In case of rain, the event moves to a covered location in our premises. There are no refunds for cancelation or no-shows.

● We reserve the right to admission.
