Faded Friends are excited to host the final gig for 2021 in New Plymouth for New Years Eve. Bringing you a stacked Kiwi lineup consisting of (alphabetical order) EMWA, T1R, and WITTERS to bring in the New Year.

VACCINATION PASSES REQUIRED

Due to New Plymouth currently sitting within the "Orange" traffic light setting, vaccination passes are mandatory and will be scanned on entrance. There will be no refunds for those who purchase tickets and cannot supply a vaccination pass on the night.

  2. All bars are card only/cashless. PayWave is accepted!
  3. The only accepted IDs are a valid NZ Drivers License, a valid Passport, or a valid 18+ card

EMWA

With her relentless determination, Auckland based Emma “EMWA” Davies has dominated headline shows and festivals around New Zealand. EMWA has supported some of the most influential artists in her respective genre such as Quix, Ray Volpe, Dodge & Fuski & Barely Alive. She has made a name for herself amongst promoters, international artists and partygoers around the country.

EMWA released her debut single, Crush, in July 2021 via Worstville Records. Crush is a co-lab with Australian producer/DJ Seek N' Destroy and was released as part of the compilation album, "Worst Behaviour". The album reached #1 on the Beatport Top 100 Dubstep Chart  and #22 on Beatport : Top 100 Album Chart, with the track itself reaching #38 on the Beatport Dubstep Top 100 singles chart.

The 'dubstep princess' brings her own exclusive sound that crowds love and her fans can't find anywhere else. With her own radio show on George FM & multiple anticipated releases scheduled for the second half of 2021, EMWA is making herself a cornerstone in the New Zealand music community.

                                                                         

T1R

T1R had a massive last few years. Notably joining Netsky to remix Jon Lemmon’s ‘It’s Gonna Be Alright’, which was used in the Tomorrowland 2019 after movie and has now surpassed 800,000 plays.

From low-key beginnings in Auckland’s nightclub scene, T1R stepped up his game when he took his turn at producing. Over the years he’s put a series of remixes and originals for which he’s been able to spin when he’s opened for the likes of What So Not, RL Grime, QUIX, Alison Wonderland, Montell2099 plus many more.

Now a regular feature on the NZ festival circuit, T1R has performed across the country and has quickly become a fan favourite among kiwi bass fans having played at various NZ music festivals including Northern Bass, Rhythm & Vines, Hidden Valley, Mardi Gras plus many more.

T1R's international portfolio is steadily growing as well, including playing at the legendary Chinese Laundry in Sydney alongside Montell2099, plus headlining the Iconic The Wall Sydney.

With a handful of original music on the way including singles and an EP, T1R is on the up as he approaches the brink of superstardom in 2021.

                                                                         

WITTERS

Witters is an Auckland-based producer and DJ. On account of his humble disposition and commitment to delivering a professional and precise show every time, Witters has fast become an established name in the industry.

No stranger to live shows, Witters has supported Wilkinson, Dimension, Alix Perez, NETSKY, S.P.Y, Friction, Lenzman and A.M.C, to name a few. Witters has performed in iconic venues across New Zealand and graced the stages of festivals including Rhythm and Vines, The Longline Classic, and Baseline Festival.

Witters has spent the past two years drip feeding singles and remixes to the masses, including his breakout single ‘Calibrate’, and more recently ‘Burning Cold’. Both tracks saw a great deal of support from local radio, media, and the wider DnB community.

Calm and collected, patient and focused, Witters is in the hot seat as one of New Zealand’s finest prospects for the export of Drum & Bass music to the world.
