King Kapisi, also known as Bill Rangi Urale MNZM, is a celebrated Samoan/New Zealand hip-hop and reggae artist, songwriter, and producer.
The first Kiwi hip hop artist to win the prestigious Silver Scroll Award for his song "Reverse Resistance" in 1999, he has collaborated on major national campaigns and performed alongside global icons like Janet Jackson, The Beastie Boys, and UB40.
Recently awarded a Queen's Honour Medal for his contributions to music and community, King Kapisi continues to inspire through his charitable work, including basketball initiatives and opportunities for underprivileged youth.
