JUSTIN HAWKES
United States based producer Justin Hawkes, formerly releasing as Flite, brings to the table a unique musical dynamic. His range of production is what sets him apart in the leagues of global drum & bass producers, sculpting between raw power infused anthems and intricate cinemascapes full of atmosphere and subtext, as well as many performances of his own vocals. With a long catalog of works under Flite, his new era as Justin Hawkes represents a refined look into his musical expression. Accumulating DJ and radio support from some of the world's top DJs, such as Andy C, Porter Robinson, RL Grime, Netsky, Friction, Sub Focus, Wilkinson and many more, Justin's music has resonated through top clubs and festivals across the globe. Amassing more than 35 million streams on his various works, his music details a unique dichotomy of club and listener favorites.
Justin cemented his 10 year journey as a producer by launching into the new alias 'Justin Hawkes', leaving behind a legacy as Flite and powering through to the next level of his career. Within the next few years, Justin saw festival play at EDC Vegas, Lost Lands, Rampage Open Air, and many other significant festivals across the US and Europe, bringing a furious performing energy and stage presence to each show. His debut LP 'Existential' released in 2022, with multiple nominations for the Drum & Bass Arena annual awards for best album and best track, his out-of-leftfield country rock DNB anthem 'Better Than Gold'. Best known for his ever exciting energy as a producer and mirrored by his flow and firey enthusiasm as a DJ, Justin's movements across the world have cemented him as a representative for Drum & Bass from North America, part of a fresh wave of talent bringing new life to the venerable Drum & Bass scene.
BLAINE STRANGER (AUS)
You know you’re onto something when Mind Vortex are recommending your beats to label bosses. Such is the case with Blaine Stranger. The label in question was Viper. Snapped up for the long game, his tracks are being hammered by the likes of Matrix & Futurebound, Sub Focus, Dimension, Friction, Rene LaVice, and Metrik, with consistent support from Liquicity, UKF, BBC Radio, George FM, and many more of the scene’s leading patrons. And it’s not hard to hear why; his nuclear blend of influences and references are as memorable as his name (and hair) as he’s established a penchant for everything from disco to gabber across originals and creative remixes.
