Historic GP 2025

Get ready for an exhilarating weekend at the Taupo International Motorsport Park as we proudly announce the Taupo Historic GP for 2025, set to take place on the 11th and 12th of January.

This year's event promises to be a celebration of Ford like never before, featuring the largest gathering of Formula Atlantics alongside a spectacular showcase of Ford vehicles.

Prepare to witness an international lineup of Formula Atlantics as they join forces with their New Zealand-based counterparts for thrilling on-track action and captivating off-track displays. With a standalone race field dedicated to these iconic cars, the competition for the 2025 Historic GP title will be fierce.

But that's not all – alongside the Formula Atlantic and Ford showcases, we're inviting a variety of other historic categories to participate, including Saloon cars, Muscle cars, Touring cars, and F5000.

Watch the future stars of motorsport in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship as a nod to the future while we remember and celebrate the iconic cars and stars of the past.

Attendees can look forward to a weekend packed with excitement, including show and shines, demonstration laps, engaging displays, and a Ford All-Comers field.
