Blaine Stranger (Aus)

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Blaine Stranger – has quickly gaining a reputation as one of the hottest rising stars in Drum and Bass, cementing a unique position in the increasingly competitive world of bass music.

His debut on Viper’s annual Summer Slammers album set the scene with clarity as he headbutted listeners with the subverted neuro-esque banger ‘Chat Shit Get Banged’ in 2016, putting the Blaine Stranger moniker on the map in a big way.

Fast forward three years and Blaine Stranger is now a staple in the mighty Viper family, sitting alongside names like Cyantific, Matrix & Futurebound, Murdock, Koven and many more of the scene’s best & brightest.

With a hyped remix of Brookes Brothers’ ’So Many Times’ shining a spotlight on 2018, followed hotly by a slew of singles as diverse as they are memorable, Blaine Stranger has shown no signs of slowing down. ‘Arms of Mine’ & ‘Bad Hook’ have been favourites amongst DJs and fans alike, while recent singles ‘Body & Mind ’ and ‘Losing Myself’ delivered two sing-along anthems, all highlighting the Australian producer’s diverse and impeccable talents.

Most recently, Blaine Stranger was given the honour of contributing to Viper’s highly esteemed Acts of Mad Men series, one of drum & bass’ most prolific collections of work hand-selected to represent the best the genre has to offer, with his single ‘Tension’, earning him support from the scene’s most powerful influencers, including UKF and BBC Radio 1.

With a lot more in store for 2022, Blaine Stranger has been turning heads across the scene for good reason, and the best is certainly yet to come.
