About Ben Soundscape

Ben Soundscape is a drum & bass producer from Bristol, UK. As well as producing solo tracks for labels like Dispatch, V Recordings and Prestige Music, he's also one half of The Insiders and one third of Mosaic.

Over many years The Insiders achieved sought-after releases with their brand of deep liquid funk. They clocked up an impressive discography on labels like Renegade Recordings, V Recordings, Frontline, Defunked and 31 Recordings. With his production partner moving into other fields Ben branched out on his own, recording under the name Ben Soundscape.

Ben is the man behind the highly successful Intrigue events in Bristol and his own label, Intrigue Music. With the quality of music the label continues to release, it’s no wonder Intrigue Music attracts major attention and support from both DJs, heads and the press alike.

During the lockdowns of 2020/21 Ben presented a weekly livestream with partner in crime Collette Warren. The show was received with much critical acclaim across the scene, picking up a nomination for 'Best Livestream' at the Drum & Bass Arena awards in 2021.

About Collette Warren

Collette Warren is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Birmingham, and now residing in Bristol. Collette is mostly known for her works in drum & bass as a vocalist and top line songwriter. She has worked with a number of well known producers in this genre including Mercury Award winning Roni Size,  DJ Marky, Calibre, Skeptical, Technimatic, Break, Pola & Bryson, Ben Soundscape, Koherent and many others. In 2018 she released her first solo EP ‘Hidden Lines’ which was released on DJ Marky’s label Innerground and reached number 5 in the Beatport charts.

Often booked with partner in crime Ben Soundscape for their live DJ/vocal set, she also takes bookings to host other DJ’s sets, as well as live PA’s of her well known songs. In recent times her & Riya have put together a live set of their album ‘Two Sides of Everything;’ and continue to tour the album after playing successful shows in London, Bristol, Liverpool and Jersey. 

As well as playing live individually and with Riya, Collette has formed a 6-piece drum and bass band Collette The Dots, which allows her to perform her songs in a live capacity. Collette The Dots have been a regular fixture on the Bristol live scene, last year supporting Andy C at the iconic Lakota on New Year's Eve 2021.

Support Lineup Info

Impression is a DJ and producer currently residing in Saint Augustine, Florida. He recently has released tunes on several prominent labels such as FX909, Soul Deep Recordings, Influenza Media, Soul Trader, Liquid Drops, Theoryon Records and Rolled Up Records and has forthcoming tunes on the label Fokuz. Impression also hosts a weekly show on Bassdrive.com called ‘Lab Sessions’ which has been running deep for almost 15 years.

Vixen Stylee is a DJ and MC currently residing in Titusville, FL. She has been a lover of electronic music since she was 16 years old. Singing across various music genres since the age of 4, she grew up in church choirs and participated in school choruses. For 20 years, she has been dedicated to DJing, paralleling her lifelong passion for singing. Vixen Stylee is looking forward to what is to come now being apart of the group called the Bass Misfits.

Blak is a DJ and MC based in the Tampa/ St. Petersburg area. He has been a driving force in the Tampa Bay area's drum & bass scene as a part of multiple crews and endeavours. Currently he is one of the three founding members behind Refuge Nights, a recurring event focused on the deeper and leftfield side of DnB, jungle, autonomic, and footwork styles. Blak is also a longstanding member of Tampa's A Night Of Drum & Bass (ANODNB) crew.

Jacksonville residents Reflections and XMSN have been holding down the Jax Drum & Bass scene collectively since 2015. Reflections is one of the original members of the Revolution Productions crew which was active from 2004 until around 2009. Since then he has successfully curated a number of parties and currently holds a monthly residency at Myth Nightclub. XMSN is the founder of Invasive Ceremonies which had its first official event in 2020, with prior scene involvement including hosting a weekly Worknight Sessions event in 2016. Together, Reflections and XMSN have helped rebuild a DnB following in Jacksonville with their Drum & Bass Invasion series, We've Got a Drum & Bass Problem one-off events, monthly takeovers at Myth, and a handful of special headliner parties.

Art Showcase and Market featuring The Shannon Wirth Collection

Shannon Wirth is a mother of four, an artist, a photographer, and a music lover. Shannon's art is inspired by life itself and her passion for music of all kinds. She uses a variety of mediums to create her art, including paint on canvas, painting vinyl records, handmade jewelry, and other 3D art pieces. Her art makes extensive use of blacklight-reactive and neon colors, tastefully implemented to create accents which bring her works into another dimension. You can find her periodically at various art markets in and around Jacksonville, as well as in rotation at our JaxDnB and Invasive Ceremonies events.

Sound System by 8th Bridge Sound & Production

8th Bridge is a homegrown sound system based out of Jacksonville, FL. The team consisting of Cameron, Jaiden, Carson and John embraces the sound system culture based around a DIY aesthetic. This group has been heavily involved in Jacksonville's underground EDM scene dating back several years before they got into the sound system business. They have provided sound support for a variety of events covering a range of music genres and different types of venues. Their main passion is providing sound for renegade stages at music festivals and other outdoor spaces. In addition to their own hosted events, they have supported Rinse & Repeat Records, Underground Disco, Modūl, Our House, and JaxDnB with their robust sound system.

All ticket prices include fees! Limited early bird tickets only $13; general advance tickets are only $16; day of show tickets and door cover will be $20.

This is an 18+ event at Fito's Caffe Sport, just a few minutes south of downtown Jacksonville. This newer venue has welcomed the underground EDM scene with open arms, with many successful events already put on by both The Wub Tub and Eighth Bridge. The venue is situated in the middle of an unsuspecting strip mall, a perfect setting for curating those positive vibes.
