Bangers & Mash 25th Anniversary Reunion

Our first headliner is a DJ/Producer that was one of the main people responsible for the 90s UK Acid Trance sound. The main man Choci. His record shop in Soho (Choci Chewns) was a Mecca for DJs. And his labels, most notably VCF and Choci Chewns named after the shop shaped UK underground acidic dance music. He's DJ'd all over the place over the years. He was a regular at the late 90's London events like Pendragon and Escape From Samsara. He has recently relaunched his two legendary labels VCF and Choci Chewns via Stay Up Forever Records. He'll be releasing each release on limited vinyl runs then digital at a later date with a couple of those releases to include tracks from Bangers head honcho Ludo!

 

Our second headliner is the incredible Matt Acidic. He is the main man responsible for the truly brilliant and much missed Rave Yard stage at Boomtown but he's now keeping the 303s alive with his new Acid Leak stage which is becoming equally as amazing at Boomtown. He also happens to be a pretty amazing DJ playing slamming acid driven sets that'll take you from Acid Techno to PSy Trance to Hard House and whatever else he fancies. All you need to know is he'll rock the place

As it's a reunion event our line up includes the 2 current residents plus we've invited back 2 older residents to the line up!

 

The legendary Tink will be joining us from her (now) hometown of Sheffield and reigniting the dancefloor like only she can. She is by far one of the most naturally gifted DJs around and helped shape Bangers become what it is today with her residency in the early years.

 

We've also got back the infamous Caley King who was actually one of the original founders of Bangers along side Ludo all those years ago... His Hard House sets are legendary. Expect a no holds barred Karim style set from him.

 

Joining them will be Ludo. Bangers founder and resident for the last 25 years. DJ now turned DJ/Producer he's been making inroads into the production scene the last few years with multiple releases on a variety of labels including Choci's newly relaunched VCF and Choci Chewns Labels. Djing regularly for The Beat Goes On crew and also Matt at Boomtown you can expect to see more from him in the future. Expect a showcase of his own acid driven creations.

 

No introduction is really needed for Bangers other current resident. Colonel Winters raver turned DJ who's passion for the music and scene has seen him rapidly gain a standing in the scene and multiple regular bookings at some big events like Lakefest & The Beat Goes On. He never dissapoints.

 

Along side the list of residents old and new we also have Rob Tarren another local DJ who was well known on the scene at the end of the 90s early 00s playing at many big Hard House events around the land. He'll be dusting off his tunes to provide a slammer of a set for us.

 

Lastly we have Jase who's been around the Cheltenham scene from the start. He's played Bangers many times delivering slamming Acid Techno/Acid Tek sets every time. He's one of our favourite DJs around you won't be disappointed.
