The 2mile2good Trout Fishing Comp is back for 2023. This includes the whole of the Lake Taupo fishing zone excluding Lake Otamangakau.

Massive prize pool and more chances of winning something with our revised prize categories, see below. Numbers are limited so get in quick!

Remember to get in early on the Friday night to grab one of the limited "captain bags" and your complimentary Peroni with adult or family entry fee.

Each angler can weigh in ONE trout only and will need to pick either heaviest, closest to average weight or best condition factor

Registrations close 10pm Friday 17th November, either through Ticket Fairy or at the Two Mile Bay Sailing Club

Briefing 6.30pm Friday 18th November. Major spot prize draw and loads of giveaways for those who get here early.

Adult entry fee $49+BF includes a Peroni

Family $99+BF Includes 2 Peroni's (Mum and Dad and all of your kids, must be from immediate family)

Youth (under18) $31+BF  

Entertainment and live band Friday night after briefing.
Prize giving 6 pm ish Saturday.
Fishing starts Saturday morning in accordance with local rules and final weigh in is before 5pm Saturday followed by prize giving.
All entrants must have a current fishing licence and produce at weigh ins. All forms of fishing are fine, boat, kayak, fly fishing and shore. 
Lake Otamangakau is specifically excluded from this competition.
