The 2mile2good Trout Fishing Comp is back for 2022. Thanks to our awesome sponsors Trev Terry Marine, Hamills Taupo and Chris Jolly Outdoors we have our biggest prize pool and more chances of winning something with our revised prize categories, see below. Numbers are limited so get in quick!

Each angler can weigh in ONE trout only and will need to pick either heaviest, closest to average weight or best condition factor. We have dropped down to one fish to help speed up the weigh in process.

Registrations close 10pm Friday 28th October , either through Ticket Fairy or at the Two Mile Bay Sailing Club

Briefing 6.30pm Friday 28th October. Major spot prize draw and loads of giveaways for those who get there early.

Adult entry fee $45+BF includes a Peroni

Family $99 +BF Includes 2 Peroni's (2 adults and all of your kids, must be from same family)

Youth (under18) $31+BF

Entertainment and live band Friday night after briefing.

Prize giving 6 pm ish after all trout weighed Saturday.

Fishing starts Saturday morning in accordance with local rules and final weigh in before 4.30pm Saturday followed by prize giving.

All entrants must have a current fishing licence and produce at weigh ins.

Lake Otamangakau is specifically excluded from this competition.
